The MiraCosta College student planner contest was open to all students at the institution. I chose to enter with my design, inspired by the college’s growth and evolving infrastructure. Reflecting on its origins, I researched the college’s history and discovered a poignant portrait of early students, which served as my inspiration.

My design ultimately earned third place in the competition.
